Jambo Harambee Friends and Supporters,

We appreciate everyone who has supported our November fundraiser. Thanks to your contributions we have raised $11,100, plus $20,500 in pledges that will match donations dollar for dollar. Although the auction is closed, there is still time to help us reach our $50,000 goal. Proceeds Benefit

Najijali Program: Empowering teenage girls in Chwele, Kenya affected by pregnancy to find financial independence and break the cycle of poverty for themselves and their children.

Mental Health Program: Providing opportunities for Chwele, Kenya community members to build the skills to mentally and emotionally support themselves and each other, and to strengthen communities in order to more effectively deal with challenges in their environment.

Harambee Centre is a small grass roots non-profit organization based in Portland Oregon with the mission to connect the people of the Pacific Northwest with the people and diverse cultures of Africa.
